We strive to set clear expectations with our clients when it comes to our consulting and publishing support services at Ebook Pro Studio. A refund will only be considered when a service agreed upon has not been received.
Non-Refundable Situations
Generally, the following factors will not be taken into account when deciding whether to process a refund request:
- The project is delivered and approved by client.
- The project has been ongoing for over 30 days and some deliverables have been furnished.
- Revision to client's request has begun.
- Request is made due to a change of mind post-purchase.
- Project has not received any feedback within 7 days of delivery.
- Access to the back end or system has been granted to the client.
- Significant progress has been made in the provision of the agreed services.
If applicable, service charges will be deducted from any amounts approved for refunds.
Refund Request Timeframe
If a refund is desired, please request the refund within 25 days of the day of delivery of services. Requests after this time will not be considered for review.
Service Delivery
A refund is not likely to be available if part of the agreed service has already been provided. Each request will be considered on a case-by-case basis, based on the conditions of the original service contract.
Disputes
When a project is completed and accepted by the client it is deemed complete within the scope of work agreed to. Generally, no refunds or disputes for completed deliverables will be considered.
Maintenance Responsibility
If the backend or system access has been handed over to the client, then further maintenance, modification and resolution of issues will not be provided unless specified in a separate maintenance contract.

The pricing of each project depends on the level of work, services chosen and the particular requirements of your publication.
We start with a consultation and discussion of your publishing goals, reading your manuscript and discussing your needs. From that discussion, we are able to make a proposed recommendation for services and costs that are specifically tailored to your needs.
A 50% advance payment is needed to start the project. The balance is to be paid when the remaining services are completed and your files are production ready for the publication.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
The experts at Ebook Pro Studio offer consulting services, publishing advice and specific publishing services that are geared towards the individual's project. This policy provides information on the conditions associated with canceling a project and requesting a refund.
Project Cancellation
Clients can terminate a project at any time prior to the initiation of work. In case of cancellation before formatting, editing, cover design or any work related to the production has started, the deposit or payment received will be credited in full. After the project has started, it is considered to be a work in progress and requests for a refund will be considered based on the terms set out below.
Refund Policy
Services are tailored to each client and built to fit the scope of services agreed. Generally, fees for services already performed, such as formatting, editing, cover design or other agreed services, are not refundable since project products are developed specifically for each manuscript and may not be used for other manuscripts.
We provide up to three (3) rounds of revisions as part of our normal process to facilitate collaboration throughout the project. Such changes enable clients to inspect the work, give comments and ask for reasonable changes to be made so that the finished work meets the project requirements as outlined in the agreements.
